Insanity with Currency
This is a topic I have posted before, but bears repeating in light of an article Mish Shedlock posted this morning. I am hearing more and more about replacement currencies for the U.S. Dollar, mainly in the context of replacing its reserve status. Recently it hit the main media in a few interviews (and by the time they talk about it, its usually 6 to 8 months old when it comes to our economy and the truth). Though there have been rumors of a replacement currency for the dollar, this idea floated by Citigroup seems to be the dumbest.
