An article titled "Homes lost to foreclosure up 6% from last year" in USA Today Finance reported banks took back 92,858 properties last month, a 9% increase from June and a 6% increase from July of 2009. July marks the 8th month of increasing foreclosures, a trend that is not a good sign for the economy or the banks that hold the paper.
